Condition Guide

We grade our cards strictly aligned with Cardmarket guidelines to ensure you get exactly what you pay for.

Mint (M)

M

A Mint card is exactly as it was when pulled from a fresh booster pack. It has no scratches, no whitening on the edges, no dirt, and perfect centering. We rarely use this grade as even pack-fresh cards often have minor factory flaws.

Most Common

Near Mint (NM)

NM

A Near Mint card looks clean at first glance. Upon close inspection, it may have a very minor flaw, such as a tiny speck of whitening on one corner or a very faint scratch visible only under direct light. Most "pack-fresh" modern Pokémon cards fall into this category.

Excellent (EX)

EX

An Excellent card looks great but clearly shows minor signs of being handled. It may have slight surface scratches, minor edge wear (whitening) on several edges, or a slightly dulled surface. However, there are no creases, bends, or structural damages.

Good (GD) / Lightly Played (LP)

GD

A Good card clearly shows it has been played. It will have visible whitening around the edges, noticeable surface scratches, or slight corner wear. It still looks decent when in a sleeve, but the flaws are obvious to the naked eye. No major structural damage.

Played (PL) / Poor (PO)

PL

We generally do not sell items in this condition unless they are vintage chase cards. Played or Poor cards have severe wear, which can include deep scratches, heavy edge wear, creases, bends, water damage, or dirt.
